The Respiratory department at North Bristol NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity for a clinical fellow to join the Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) team.
The post offers 12 months of dedicated sub-specialty experience in Interstitial Lung Disease, suitable for a Respiratory Trainee or Rheumatology trainee interested in connective tissue disease. It can be undertaken as out-of-programme experience during specialist training or as post-CCT experience.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to enhance existing respiratory knowledge and become an integral part of the ILD multidisciplinary team.
Bristol Interstitial Lung Disease Service is a regional specialist centre and antifibrotic prescribing centre, delivering comprehensive care across North and South-West England. North Bristol NHS Trust has secured investment from NHSE to expand the team, enabling safe and effective antifibrotic drug delivery, improving patient experience and reducing health inequalities.
The successful candidate will work closely with a collaborative multidisciplinary team, including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, physiotherapists, physiologists, and clinical psychologists, within a supportive network.
