Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative and End of Life Care

Main duties of the job

The post holder will manage the provision of specialist palliative care advice and support to people affected by life-limiting illnesses, and also to patients who are at the end of their lives.

This will be achieved both directly through clinical practice and caseload management, and indirectly through leadership, education, research, audit, and professional activities.

The aim of the post is to maximise the quality of life for patients with advanced life-limiting disease or those at the end of their lives, and to provide support and advice to their families and carers.

This post offers the opportunity to work flexibly over 4 days to provide excellent palliative care to the people of East London and beyond.

  • Appropriate NMC registration (Adult Nursing)
