This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialist IV Nurse to join the Ealing Community Partnership. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated practitioner to lead on IV therapy in the community. Additionally, we are looking for a candidate with experience, knowledge, and proven skills in operational management to oversee the community phlebotomy service.
This key role involves providing an integrated specialist nursing service for residents requiring IV therapy who are registered with a GP in the London Borough of Ealing. The service operates 7 days a week from 9 am to 5 pm, offering domiciliary visits.
The post holder will coordinate the delivery of IV therapy by the Adult Community Nursing Services and will undertake initial visits, either alone or with a member of the Community Nursing Teams.
The post holder will coordinate and develop the Community Phlebotomy service supporting housebound clients, including those in care homes. The role involves ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care, and evaluating clinical pathways, policies, and procedures for phlebotomy across primary and community care.
Be the specialist lead for Phlebotomy, providing expert advice, developing care pathways, and reviewing policies and standards.
