Job summary

ExamWorks UK is seeking a Nurse Assessor to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in delivering functional assessments. The role is based on-site in Anfield, with both full-time and part-time options, offering a balanced work/life arrangement.

You will assess medical evidence, produce comprehensive reports, and communicate decisions clearly to claimants. A registered nurse or equivalent with PIN/HCPC, strong empathy, and report-writing skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience as RN, Paramedic, OT, or PT.
• Valid PIN and full registration with NMC or HCPC, without conditions.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and report-writing skills.
• Strong time management and ability to meet targets.
• Computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Experience with chronic conditions across medical settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyse medical evidence for online and face-to-face assessments.
• Produce detailed, evidence-based reports to support DWP decisions.
• Explain findings to claimants and manage expectations during assessments.
