In your role as a Clinical Night Manager at HC-One, you’ll be delivering the very highest standard of care as you assess nursing needs, identify and take the right interventions for every resident who needs you. You’ll also supervise colleagues, manage shifts, and ensure flawless handover summaries are completed to ensure continuity of care. Above all, it’s about ensuring our residents are at the core of everything you do. You will oversee a team to deliver outstanding care and, in the Home Manager’s absence, take responsibility for leading that team and running the home. Whether helping a colleague develop their performance, administering prescribed medicines, or preparing incident reports, you’ll always prioritize resident wellbeing.

Taking responsibility for our residents' well-being, including meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs, you will promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the highest standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.

You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number and committed to your profession through the standards of practice set by the NMC.

You will have a passion for mentoring and sharing your knowledge with colleagues, supporting as a practice supervisor and assessor to students. You understand the importance of effective communication, both verbally and in writing, and role model professional behaviors.

You will advocate for and deliver a person-centered approach to care for residents and their families.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
