Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking a Clinical Physiologist to join the Neurophysiology Directorate in Manchester. The role offers opportunities to work with adults and paediatrics, develop skills in routine and specialist neurophysiological testing, and contribute to a busy teaching NHS trust.

You may be newly qualified or experienced, with a passion to expand expertise in EEG recording, sleep studies, ambulatory video EEG, and Evoked Potentials.

Qualifications

• Must have BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science (Neurophysiology) or equivalent.
• AHCS registration or equivalent desirable.
• Experience as a Trainee Physiologist in a Neurophysiology unit is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and non-routine clinical Neurophysiology services across MFT departments.
• Independently perform routine EEGs, sleep studies, ambulatory video EEG and Evoked Potentials with written reports.
• Be available for rota-based coverage at multiple Neurophysiology sites, including North Manchester, Wythenshawe and Nobles Hospital (Isle of Man).

AHCS registration (incorporating RCCP)
