Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Clinical Physiologist (Sleep) to join the Sleep Service at Trafford General Hospital. The role focuses on leading the department, performing and analysing in-patient and outpatient sleep studies, CPAP management, and contributing to teaching and service improvement.

Based in Trafford, the post supports flexible working and may require evening/night shifts to meet service demand.

Responsabilités

• Supporting the service manager in the day to day management and leadership of the department.
• Performing and analysing in-patient and outpatient sleep studies (including respiratory polygraphy, full video polysomnography, multiple sleep latency testing, maintenance of wakefulness testing and actigraphy).
• CPAP issue and follow up (face-to-face and remote clinics).
• Teaching, training and mentoring of students and junior staff.
• Supervision and line management of junior staff, stock control and procurement.
• Service improvement, audit and quality control.
