Job summary

William James Recruitment is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500 practice in Leeds. You will manage a strong pipeline of complex clinical negligence claims from inception through to conclusion, handling high-quality matters including birth injury and brain/spinal injuries where applicable.

You will work in a dedicated team known for outstanding client care, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements and a clear path for progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive with clinical negligence experience.
• Experience managing your own clinical negligence caseload.
• Strong drafting and file management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims from start to finish.
• Investigate and litigate multi-track matters.
• Progress cases efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
• Draft key legal documents and correspondence.
• Manage client relationships with empathy and professionalism.
• Work on high-value claims including birth, brain and spinal injuries where applicable.
• Meet KPIs and contribute to team success.
