Job summary

KERV Legal in Hull is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join a well-established team.

You will support fee earners with a varied caseload from instruction to settlement or trial, with opportunities to liaise directly with clients, medical experts and counsel.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working on clinical negligence claims.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
• Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced fee earners with a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from instruction through to settlement or trial.
• Maintain proactive client communication and liaise with medical experts and counsel as needed.
• Support case progression, document handling and file management to meet deadlines.
