Leeds | Hybrid Working

An established organisation is looking to add a Clinical Negligence Claims Handler to its team in Leeds.

The role will focus on defendant clinical negligence work, managing a caseload of claims and working closely with internal teams and external legal professionals to progress matters effectively.

They are open to candidates coming from either a claimant or defendant clinical negligence background, so this could suit someone looking to make a move across from claimant work into a defendant environment.

The role

• Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims
• Handling matters through the lifecycle of the claim
• Assessing liability, quantum and litigation risk
• Working with solicitors, medical professionals and other relevant stakeholders
• Providing clear and considered advice on claims
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently

About you

They are looking for someone with previous clinical negligence experience. This could be gained within either a claimant or defendant environment.
