Job summary

Birmingham Hospice seeks a Clinical Team Leader (Band 7) to join the Specialist Palliative Urgent Response (SPUR) Service. The role blends leadership (60%) with clinical work (40%), across Birmingham and Solihull, aiming to assess patients within two hours and deliver high-quality palliative care.

DBS enhanced check required. The post is permanent, 37.5 hours, with day and night shifts; salary range £45,732–£52,333 per annum.

• Registered healthcare professional with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the SPUR multidisciplinary team.
• Provide leadership and operational support within SPUR.
• Rotate between triage and face-to-face care for urgent referrals.
• Ensure timely, specialist palliative and end-of-life care for patients at both sites.
