Job summary

Anchor Hanover Group's Wetherby Manor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join as Clinical Lead and 2nd Deputy Manager on a 23-bed ward.

You will work with the Home Manager and leadership team to provide strong clinical leadership, support the nursing team and ensure residents receive the highest standards of care. The role offers a permanent contract, 8am–8pm shifts, and Every other weekend off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' post-registration nursing experience.
• Experience in geriatric care, dementia, or complex clinical needs.
• Interest in senior leadership roles and management development.
• NMC registered as a Nurse (Adult).

Responsibilities

• Provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing team.
• Support the Home Manager and wider leadership team.
• Oversee day-to-day ward operations for a 23-bed unit.
• Lead clinical governance and ensure high standards of care.
• Drive development of management and leadership capabilities.

Wetherby Manor is looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead who would act as a2nd Deputy Manager to join our team on a 23 nursing bed ward and play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of our luxury care home.

Working closely with the Home Manager and wider leadership team, you will act as the 2nd Deputy Manager for the home, providing strong clinical leadership, supporting the nursing team and helping to ensure our residents receive the highest standards of care.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Care Home Nurse or NHS Nurse who is ready to take the next step into a senior leadership position.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a confident, compassionate Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience.
