Clinical Lead (ITU/Critical Care)

Up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week (Long shifts, including nights/weekends with enhanced rates)

As a Clinical Lead at our St Bartholomew’s Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC registration. You should have post-registration experience in patient care, pre and post operatively, in specialties such as Cardiac, Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, Gynae, and Urology.

As a Clinical Lead, you will:

• Support the Senior Sister/Ward Manager in the efficient running of the ward
• Coordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety
• Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care
• Work well with consultants who are experts in their field
• Apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning, and delivery
• Champion a supportive, enabling working culture on the ward, promoting staff safety

We’ve opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital: The City of London’s only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew’s NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynecology, and urology services.

Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres, and Endoscopy and minor ops theatres. It features 28 consultation rooms, a cardiac catheterization lab, an Oncology Day unit, and a full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, and general X-ray.
