Job summary

Find. in Durham is seeking a Registered General Nurse to step up as Clinical Lead. The role is 36 hours per week (24 on the floor, 12 supernumerary) with hands-on clinical leadership and team support.

You will oversee daily clinical care, ensure safe, compassionate and person-centred services, and contribute to service improvement in a supportive environment. An active NMC PIN is required along with prior leadership experience in elderly or dementia care.

Qualifications

• You’ll need to be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN and previous experience within nursing, residential, dementia or elderly care.
• Experience in a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, Senior Nurse or other leadership role is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day clinical oversight of the service and lead the wider team.
• Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Balance hands-on nursing with leadership responsibilities across 36 hours per week.

Are you a Registered General Nurse ready to step up into a Clinical Lead role?

We’re working with a well-established care provider who are looking for a confident and experienced RGN Clinical Lead to join their team in Durham.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Nurse who enjoys being hands-on clinically, leading a team and making sure residents receive the highest standard of care.

As Clinical Lead, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day clinical oversight of the service, working closely with the wider team to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

The role is made up of 36 hours per week – 24 hours on the floor and 12 hours supernumerary, giving you dedicated time to focus on clinical leadership and supporting the wider team.

What are we looking for?

You’ll need to be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN and previous experience within nursing, residential, dementia or elderly care.

We’re particularly keen to speak with Nurses who have previous experience as a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, Senior Nurse or in another clinical leadership position.
