Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Lead CAMHS ND/LD to provide clinical leadership and expert guidance for two community CAMHS teams in Tameside and Stockport. The role includes supporting staff with complex neurodiversity and learning disability cases, guiding risk management, and developing cross-service pathways.

You will steer high-quality assessments, supervise clinical teams, and contribute to service improvements while maintaining a small complex caseload as needed,

Qualifications

Clinical leadership experience in CAMHS and ND/LD settings.
Experience guiding complex cases and supporting staff in risk assessment.
Ability to develop and maintain clinical pathways between CAMHS and other services.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and supervision to CAMHS teams.
Lead on risk assessment, risk management and incident debriefs.
Offer guidance on relevant legislation affecting CAMHS practice.
Develop and maintain effective clinical pathways between CAMHS and partner services.
Lead on and ensure thorough assessments and ongoing interventions as lead case manager.
Provide guidance and support to staff managing complex clinical cases.
Work as an integral part of CAMHS with a small complex caseload.
Participate in extended working hours as required by service needs.
Ensure safe, timely discharge and effective transitions in CAMHS.
