Job summary

Turning Point is seeking a Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership across our Integrated Substance Use Service in Wakefield. This role blends strategic leadership with tangible clinical impact in a forward-thinking service committed to innovation and excellence.

You will work with an experienced leadership team to develop services, improve outcomes, support staff and respond to emerging challenges in substance use treatment, including ketamine use and synthetic opioids.

Qualifications

• Experience in addiction medicine at a clinical leadership level.
• Current GMC Registration is required.
• Experience in providing safe, effective, evidence-based assessment and interventions for substance users (adults and young people).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across the Wakefield service.
• Support delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based interventions.
• Lead on clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety.
• Provide supervision, mentoring and development support to clinical colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with local health partners and stakeholders.
• Support service innovation and development.
• Contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives.
• Influence how services respond to emerging trends within addiction treatment.
