Advinia Healthcare - Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager

Join our team at Woodfield Grange Nursing Home in Halifax. Woodfield Grange is a 36-bed facility specializing in elderly care and dementia.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure appropriate standards are maintained by monitoring and providing professional support to senior staff and team leaders.
  2. Review care plans, risk assessments, and medication administration; ensure assessment tools are fully utilized.
  3. Ensure all residents have comprehensive care assessments prior to admission, considering their physical, social, and psychological needs, with annual re-assessments.
  4. Deploy staff efficiently for care duties, manage duty rota, monitor care staff hours, and approve timesheets in the absence of the Home Manager.
  5. Establish good relationships with residents and their families.
  6. Assist the Home Manager in completing induction and mandatory training, and identify additional training needs.
  7. Collaborate on action plans from external regulators or internal support functions.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Nurse qualification
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Ability to meet deadlines
