Job summary

Hillside Lodge Care Home in Berwick-upon-Tweed is seeking a Clinical Lead to provide hands-on clinical leadership, oversee medication management and care planning, and support nursing staff to deliver safe, person-centred care. You will work closely with the Home Manager and senior team to maintain high clinical standards.

Hillside Lodge Care Home, located in Berwick-upon-Tweed, provides high quality Nursing, Residential, Dementia, Respite and Palliative Care in a warm and welcoming environment. From overseeing medication management and supporting care planning to monitoring clinical standards, mentoring colleagues and ensuring best practice is consistently maintained, your leadership will directly influence the quality of care residents receive.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who is ready to take the next step into a clinical leadership position. Whether you are currently working as a Registered Nurse, Night Charge Nurse or already hold clinical leadership experience, your confidence, expertise and ability to support others will help create a safe, supportive and well led environment where both residents and colleagues can thrive.

What Matters Most
  • Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN is essential
  • Previous nursing experience within a care home or similar healthcare environment is essential
  • Strong clinical knowledge

  • Experience supporting, mentoring or guiding colleagues within a clinical environment is beneficial
