Job summary

Randox is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Analyst in Antrim to perform routine clinical testing across multiple platforms and to process blood and other samples. The role requires operating LIMS and maintaining strict quality controls in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

The position is full-time and permanent, with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (7am–7pm and 12:00–24:00). A Biochemistry or life sciences degree and UK right-to-work are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least degree level in Biochemistry or a life science.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical testing using LIMS and automated methods.
• Prepare and handle samples and reagents for testing.
• Operate automated analyzers including Rx Daytona Plus, Rx Imola and Immulite XPi.
• Maintain accurate analytical records and ensure chain of custody.
• Carry out quality checks and participate in audits.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in clinical diagnostics.
