Job summary

Avante Care & Support in London is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead our 62-bed nursing and dementia home in Plumstead. You will deliver outstanding, person-centred care while ensuring the home achieves excellence in quality, compliance, occupancy and team engagement.

Key requirements include previous Home Manager or Deputy Manager readiness, strong clinical leadership in nursing and dementia care, knowledge of CQC regulations, and a track record of developing high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Home Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready for the next step
• Strong clinical leadership with experience in nursing and dementia care
• Registered Nurse qualification is desirable, but not essential
• Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
• A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
• Passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, occupancy and performance

Responsibilities

• Providing visible, compassionate leadership across the home
• Leading and supporting a skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care
• Driving continuous improvement, quality assurance and regulatory compliance
• Creating a positive culture where residents, relatives and colleagues feel valued
