Qualificações

• Firm grounding in junior level surgery.
• Evidence of achievement of foundation competencies.
• Experience of acute surgical take.
• Previous NHS experience.
• Experience in conducting and publishing research (Desirable).
• Experience in conducting audits (Desirable).
• Knowledge of GMC principles, NHS structures and current media issues.
• Desirable: HPB/General Surgery experience.

The main duties of the role are:

• Participation in clinical audit within the Unit.
• Opportunity to engage in clinical research.

Knowledge Essential

• Knowledge of wider health debates and NHS Structures, and current media issues. The applicant must be familiar with and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the major principles of the GMC. Clear logical thinking showing an analytical/scientific approach

Desirable

• Previous experience in HPB / General Surgery
