The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1600, with Tuesday 0800 - 1530.
Medical equipment is used for treatment and diagnosis across hospital areas and beyond. Ensuring fully functional and accurate medical equipment is crucial for patient safety. The Medical Equipment Management service, comprising highly trained clinical engineers, manages the full life cycle of over 55,000 devices across ten hospital sites, completing over 60,000 jobs annually.
You will join a team of clinical engineer technologists based at Gartnavel General Hospital on a permanent contract, working Monday to Friday. Your daily tasks may include assisting in theatres with equipment failures, commissioning new devices, or performing planned maintenance in outpatient clinics. You will work with a range of complex medical devices and receive manufacturer and in-house training to develop skills in commissioning, calibration, performance assurance, and repair.
