Job summary

North Devon Hospice in Barnstaple is recruiting a Clinical Educator to support staff learning and development within our Quality and Education Team. You will promote and deliver education across a range of professionals, shaping and delivering impactful learning experiences.

The role is 15 hours per week, flexibly scheduled between Monday and Friday; salary £39,800 pro rata for full-time, actual salary £15,900 for this part-time post, and the contract runs for 3 years.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration and clinical practice experience.
• Experience in palliative care is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Promoting and facilitating opportunities for staff to learn and develop.
• Working with the Clinical Practice Educator to implement the hospice clinical education strategy.
• Contributing to the delivery of a clinical education programme.
• Embracing innovative and creative ways of delivering education effectively.

Are you highly organised, people-focused, and passionate about making learning happen? We’re looking for a dynamic Clinical Educator to join our team and support our ambition to be the palliative care educator of choice.

You will be at the heart of our Quality and Education Team, providing comprehensive education while helping to shape and deliver impactful learning experiences for a range of professionals.

This role is 15 hours per week, worked flexibly between Monday and Friday. The distribution of these hours is open to discussion.

Salary £39,800 PA (pro rata for part-time) Actual Salary £15,900

This role is a 3-year fixed term contract
