Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company seeking a Clinical Specialist to train and support healthcare professionals across Acute and Integrated Care settings within the Medication Management Solutions portfolio.

The role is field-based across the United Kingdom, requiring travel to customer sites and conferences. You’ll use your clinical expertise to deliver education, product training and ongoing support, helping customers maximise clinical and operational value from BD solutions.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse or midwife with minimum 2 years clinical experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and experience within specialised therapies.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Confident communicating with and influencing healthcare professionals at different levels.
• Ability to translate complex clinical information into clear training.
• Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a broader team.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Commercial awareness and a strong customer focus.
• A current driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical and product training across the BD MMS portfolio.
• Educate and support healthcare professionals in the safe and effective use of solutions.
• Support customers with pump configurations and data set development.
• Provide product demonstrations, presentations and clinical expertise during customer engagements.
• Partner with Sales to understand customer needs and identify opportunities to improve services and expand product adoption.
• Support key accounts, new customer implementations and competitive conversions.
• Help customers achieve clinical, operational and patient safety benefits.
• Work with Marketing to develop educational and customer support materials.
• Represent BD at conferences and exhibitions.
• Build relationships with relevant professional organisations and keep up to date with clinical practice changes.
• Continue to develop your own clinical, product and industry knowledge.
