Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a qualified Dispensing Optician to provide expert advice and exceptional customer care in-store, reporting to the Store Manager.

You will support the optical team, dispense regulated eyewear, and help customers choose products that best fit their needs while ensuring compliant day-to-day operations.

Active CPD participation and GOC registration are required, with a passion for learning and embracing new technologies to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Passion for learning and completing CPD training as part of the GOC requirement.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing.
• Inspiring the Optical team by sharing knowledge to offer the best service.
• Listening to customers and offering expertise and advice.
• Helping customers choose eyewear and ensuring the best product for their needs.
• Supporting the team to deliver an efficient model day and compliant operations.
• Providing expert knowledge for patients with specialist requirements.
