Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a qualified Dispensing Optician to provide high-level customer care and expert advice in one of our stores, reporting to the Store Manager. You’ll work with the Optical team to ensure compliance and exceptional service.

The role emphasises CPD, GOC registration, and supporting patients with specialist needs, with a clear path to leadership opportunities through our Franchise Academy. You will be integral to delivering top-quality eyewear solutions and patient care.

Qualifications

• GOC registration is required and CPD training is part of the GOC requirement.
• Demonstrated passion for learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support in store for regulated dispensing.
• Share knowledge to inspire the Optical team and deliver the best service.
• Listen to customer needs and offer expert advice.
• Assist customers in choosing eyewear and provide guidance for best products.
• Support the team to maintain efficient store operations and legal compliance.
• Provide specialist knowledge for patients with complex requirements.
