Job description

Salary: Up to £85,000 Negotiable DOE, Welcome bonus up to £10,000 & Relocation Allowance up to £8,000

Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our management team as Clinical Director. This unique opportunity is to lead both Hall Place Veterinary Centre and Cherry Tree Veterinary Practice and to further develop the partnership between the two sites.

We are looking for an experienced individual who has a passion not only for veterinary care of the highest standards but also for dynamic and effective leadership.

As Clinical Director, you will help lead a team of long-standing vets, nurses, and receptionists, managing a diverse caseload of surgeries and consultations, vet rotas, and clinical budgets over multiple sites. Hall Place boasts fantastic facilities with a central hospital-style practice in a beautiful barn conversion situated in Pinkneys Green. The main hospital is supported by two smaller branches in the villages of Bourne End and Marlow. Cherry Tree is a smaller practice in the country village of Lane End offering its own consulting, operating, imaging, and day-patient facilities.

You will be fully supported in practice by our Practice Manager, Head Vet, and Head Nurse. You will also be supported by our close working relationship with our Area Director and Area Support Manager.

Rota:

This is a full-time position with 40 hours over a 4- or 5-day week. No out of hours or bank holidays but does include a Saturday shift on a rota basis.

About Us:

Hall Place Veterinary Centre is a 4-site practice with the main practice being a beautiful, converted barn overlooking the countryside.

We have excellent practice facilities such as laparoscopic/endoscopic/arthroscopic equipment, video otoscopy, dental x-ray at 2 sites, diamond burr, tonopen, slit lamp, ultrasound, and digital x-ray. Our main practice has dedicated dental, ultrasound, and isolation suites.

Cherry Tree Veterinary Practice is a small, village practice located in picturesque Lane End, near High Wycombe. We have been established for over 10 years and we are extremely fortunate to have strong relationships with all of our lovely clients and their pets. We have all the usual equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and internal laboratory and our vets enjoy working up their cases to a very high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next steps in their career, manage a growing team, and fully contribute to the success of both Hall Place and Cherry Tree.
