A leading provider of children’s social care services is seeking an Associate Clinical Director to oversee clinical activities across various services. This strategic home-based role involves national travel to collaborate with clinical teams and ensure quality services. Successful candidates will have a strong clinical background and management experience within children's settings, as well as a potential for leadership and development in therapy practices.

Compass Associates is exclusively working with a national provider of children’s social care services, to recruit an experienced Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist, to join them as their new Associate Clinical Director.
You will provide clinical oversight for the organisation’s Children’s Division which includes residential homes, specialist schools, family assessment centres and supported accommodation. The organisation utilises a trauma-informed therapeutic approach, which you will continue to embed and develop across all services. You will have five direct reports but the wider Clinical Team is comprised of Clinical Leads, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants and Qualified, Senior and Assistant Psychologists.
This is a strategic role where you will lead, guide and develop the internal Clinical Team, provide expert clinical advice to the Senior Leadership Team and work collaboratively with Operations, Residential and Education Teams. You’ll also be responsible for the clinical budget, ensuring clinical supervision is being carried out regularly and continuously strive to ensure high quality clinical services are being delivered.
Location/Travel
This is a home-based role which will require national travel to meet with clinical teams, visit services and attend networking events and meetings. Candidates are considered from all areas of the UK but must be willing to travel across England and Wales, with some overnight stays.
