Job summary

Kingsacre Care Home in Clydebank, Scotland, is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) to lead clinical governance, care planning, and medication management. This senior role will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care for residents.

• Strong clinical knowledge and experience within a care setting.

• Compassionate, professional and resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical governance, care planning, medication management and risk.
• Monitor performance, carry out audits, support inspections and pursue continuous improvement.
• Provide visible, hands-on leadership to nursing and care teams.
• Act as Deputy to the Home Manager and oversee daily operations in their absence.

Job description

Our purpose built service is positioned with views of the Campsie Hills near the historic town of Clydebank. Our care home is proud to offer up to 66-residents the highest standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite Care, as well as Palliative Care for older adults.

Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) Contract

• £25.00 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week
• Paid PVG, Paid NMC, Paid Breaks, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
• Paid NMC fees

Ongoing training, clinical development and clear progression into Home Manager roles, supported by experienced senior leadership and regional teams within a well structured and high performing environment.

Role Overview

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and performance of the home, working in close partnership with the Home Manager to drive clinical excellence, regulatory compliance and high quality care delivery. This is a senior leadership position where you will take responsibility for the clinical oversight of the service and ensure standards are consistently achieved and sustained.

You will lead on all aspects of clinical governance, care planning, medication management and risk, ensuring care is safe, effective and person centred. You will monitor performance, carry out audits, support inspections and take ownership of continuous improvement, ensuring the home operates in line with regulatory and organisational standards.

You will provide visible, hands on leadership to the nursing and care teams, supporting, mentoring and developing staff to deliver high quality outcomes. Acting as Deputy to the Home Manager, you will confidently oversee the service in their absence, manage day to day operations and make informed decisions that support both residents and staff.
