Athena Care Homes (UK) Ltd seeks a Clinical Deputy Manager for Langdon House Care Home in Cambridge. You will support the General Manager to lead the care home team in delivering relationship-centred care to residents.

Langdon House Care Home offers 24-hour care for up to 51 residents, with a focus on independence and personalised care plans. The role is 37.5 hours weekly, based in Cambridge, with a competitive salary and induction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or leadership role within a care home.
• Holds an NVQ level 3 or 5 in Health & Social Care.
• Proven track record for leading, empowering, supporting & motivating a team.
• Proven experience of delivering quality care and achieving financial targets.
• Good understanding of clinical governance and CQC regulatory framework.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines, proactively managing risks.
• Deliver quality care by continually assessing residents’ needs and enhancing their quality of life.
• Promote high standards of care and seek ways to improve service levels.
• Lead the team, supervise staff, and manage rotas for smooth operations.
• Oversee staff development and ensure Athena policies are followed.
