S.N.G HEALTHCARE LIMITED is seeking a Deputy Manager (RGN) for an elderly care home in Froxfield, Wiltshire. The role involves leading the clinical team, supporting the Care Home Manager, and ensuring high standards of person-centred care for residents.

You will oversee staffing, care planning, and governance, with a focus on dignity, respect and quality outcomes. The position requires an active RGN registration and proven leadership within a nursing home setting.

Qualifications

• RN qualification (RGN) with current registration
• CPD and ongoing clinical development
• Experience in senior role within a nursing home
• Strong leadership and team management
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Good written and verbal communication
• IT skills: word processing, spreadsheets, databases and email
• UK work eligibility without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to the nursing and care team
• Support the Care Home Manager with the overall management of the home
• Maintain staffing levels, rotas and skill mix
• Ensure high standards of person-centred care are delivered
• Support effective care planning and resident reviews
• Monitor medication administration and implement improvements
• Monitor incidents and take appropriate action
• Lead staff development, supervision and performance
• Support induction and development of new staff
• Promote safeguarding and report concerns
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement and governance
