Clinical Deputy Manager

The Arkley Care Home, 140 Barnet Road, Barnet, EN5 3LJ. Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.9 / 10.

Salary: Up to £51,000 per annum - Depending on experience.

Contract: Permanent - 40 hours per week.

Working hours: Monday to Friday

Additional requirements: Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
  • Creating and updating individual care plans for residents, maintaining accurate medication records.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels within the home.
  • Providing day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Building lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
  • Developing strong relationships with local partners to raise the care home’s profile.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid UK NMC pin and commitment to NMC Codes of Conduct & professional development.
  • Understanding of quality nursing care's impact on residents’ lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent at prioritizing tasks and working efficiently as a compassionate team player.
