Job summary

Benarty View Care Home in Kelty, Fife, is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to lead clinical and operational services, ensuring high standards of person-centred care, dignity and safety for residents.

Working with the Home Manager, you will oversee care planning, audits, medication management, and team development, while maintaining regulatory compliance and a compassionate, supportive leadership style.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN.
• Proven leadership experience in care home or clinical setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge for audits, care planning and medication management.
• Ability to mentor and support multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the home in partnership with the Home Manager.
• Oversee clinical standards, care planning and medication management.
• Support team development and staff mentoring.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and patient-centric care delivery.
• Provide visible, compassionate leadership to residents, families and staff.

Deputy Manager Contract

• £24.57 per hour
• 37.5 hours per week - Mix of Nursing and supernumary hours
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
