Job summary

Lunardi Court Care Home in Cupar, Fife, seeks an experienced Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN/LDN) to lead clinical care with the Home Manager. The role involves balancing hands‑on nursing with strategic oversight to maintain exceptional resident care and regulatory standards.

You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, champion audits and care planning, and ensure compassionate, patient‑centred services. This is a full‑time leadership position within Lunardi Court Care Home.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN is essential.
• Leadership experience in a care home or clinical setting is required.
• Strong clinical knowledge including audits, care planning and medication management.
• Ability to lead, mentor and support multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication with residents’ families, healthcare professionals and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership for the home and ensure high standards of care.
• Support the Home Manager in operational governance and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee care planning, audits and medication management processes.
• Mentor and develop nursing and care staff across the team.

Lunardi Court Care Home, located in Cupar, Fife, provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite Care in a warm and welcoming environment. Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN/LDN) Contract

• £24.57 per hour
• 38.5 hours per week, with 2 days working alongside the Home Manager and 2 days supporting in a clinical nursing capacity.
• Paid PVG pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
