Job summary

Priory is seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Home Manager for Cleveland House in Banks, Southport. The role provides clinical and operational leadership across the service for adults with ABI, PNC and complex needs.

You will support the Home Manager, ensure high-quality person‑centred care, and maintain regulatory compliance with CQC standards. Ideal candidates will be an RMN with active NMC registration, strong leadership, governance, audits, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision‑making skills.
• Experience in a senior nursing leadership role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of clinical governance, audits, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care.

Responsibilities

• Support Home Manager to ensure the service operates effectively and meets CQC standards.
• Provide leadership to nursing and care teams to deliver person‑centred care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Nurses, Physiotherapists, OTs, SLTs, Psychologists).
• Build relationships with residents, families, colleagues and external professionals.
• Lead team meetings and promote transparent communication.
• Support recruitment, induction and staff development.
• Oversee risk assessments, care planning, and clinical governance processes.
• Conduct audits and quality assurance activities, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support service development initiatives and implement best practice.
• Create a positive working environment where staff feel valued and empowered.
