Data ManagerLocation: Cambridge (Hybrid, 2 days in the office)Salary: £40,000 to £48,000Contract: Permanent, full-time
I'm working with an innovative life sciences and clinical research technology business based just outside Cambridge that is looking to bring on a Data Manager to join its growing Data Management team.
The business develops digital technologies and assessments used in clinical trials, helping researchers better understand patient symptoms and supporting the development of new treatments. With an established presence internationally and over 30 years of scientific expertise behind its work, this is an opportunity to join an organisation where data quality directly contributes to clinical research and healthcare outcomes.
The Role You'll take ownership of data management activities across a portfolio of clinical studies, working from study initiation through to database lock and final data transfer. Alongside the technical responsibilities, you'll act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring data quality, transparency and reliable delivery throughout the study lifecycle.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of data, investigating discrepancies and improving existing processes, rather than simply following established procedures. The team is particularly interested in someone who is curious about new technologies, including AI, and is keen to identify more efficient and effective ways of working.
A relevant degree in life sciences, mathematics or a related discipline would be beneficial but isn't essential. The client is equally interested in candidates who have developed their expertise through practical experience.
