Job summary

Talentmark Limited is recruiting for a Senior Data Manager on a 6-month contract. The role is hybrid with 2–3 days on-site in Welwyn Garden City, UK, and involves end-to-end data management across studies. DBS check may be required, and entitlement to work in the UK is essential.

You will work with Biostats, Data Science, and Clinical teams to define data specs and ensure regulatory quality. Experience in clinical trials and programming (SAS/R/Python) is required.

• Hands-on experience managing data for clinical trials (CRF design, query resolution).
• Programming literacy for data review (SAS, R, Python).

Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end data management activities for studies.
• Collaborate with Biostats, Data Science, Clinical to define data specs.
• Resolve complex data issues using industry best practices and RBM.
• Support oversight of third-party vendors to ensure data deliverables meet regulatory and quality expectations.
• Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of data management across studies.

Talentmark are recruiting for a Senior Data Manager to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 6 months. This role is a hybrid role with 2 or 3 days per week on-site in Welwyn Garden City.

£37.76 - £42.28 PAYE or £50 - £56 via umbrella or Ltd. This role is outside IR35.

Senior Data Manager Role

• Independently manage end-to-end data management activities for one or more studies, from CRF and database design to final study closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Biostats, Data Science, Clinical) to define data specifications and ensure data meets study needs.
• Resolve complex data issues using industry best practices, knowledge of risk-based monitoring, and system capabilities.
• Support oversight of third-party vendors to ensure data deliverables meet regulatory and quality expectations.
• Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of data management activities across one or more studies.

Your Background

• Hold a relevant degree or have equivalent working experience.
• Extensive experience in clinical data management or a related function.
