Role: Clinical CQC Registered Manager – RNLD / RMN / RGN

Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus Scheme

Location: Chelmsford, Essex – office-based with local travel to community services

Hours: Full Time, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm

Overview:

Compass Associates is partnering with a growing provider of Complex Care services to recruit a Clinical Registered Manager. This leadership role is based in Chelmsford, Essex, overseeing high-acuity services for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and complex behavioural support needs in their own homes.

The services cater to individuals with significant support needs, often requiring intensive staffing. You will ensure safe, person-centred care while managing governance, team development, and service growth.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who excels in frontline leadership and seeks a position with clear progression potential.

Location:

Based in Chelmsford with regular travel across Essex. Commutable from nearby areas including Colchester, Ipswich, Braintree, Southend, Basildon, Romford, and Cambridge.

Criteria:

• Registered Nurse (RNLD, RMN, or RGN) with valid NMC PIN
• Experience as a Registered Manager in CQC-regulated care services
• Knowledge of Mental Health, Autism, PBS approaches, and high-risk behaviours

Responsibilities:

• Lead safe, compliant, and high-quality care delivery
• Collaborate with commissioners, teams, and leadership to improve services
• Supervise staff, oversee training, and promote excellence
• Support service expansion and onboarding of new packages with Business Development

Salary and Benefits:

• £60,000 – £65,000 annually, depending on experience
• Enhanced annual leave: 28 days plus 8 bank holidays (total 34)
• Career progression pathway toward Regional or Divisional Director
