Job summary
IPRS Aeromed, based near Gatwick, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our growing clinical team. You will assess individuals' suitability to fly, support operational decision-making, and provide clinical guidance across the business, including remote assessments and overseas support.
You will work with the Clinical Lead, Quality & Improvement Lead, and Operations to manage complex queries, participate in multidisciplinary discussions, and contribute to high-quality healthcare services
Qualifications
- Registered Adult Nurse (NMC) or Registered Paramedic (HCPC).
- Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.
- Minimum of 3 years post-registration clinical experience.
- Remote clinical assessment experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess medical referrals and determine suitability to fly.
- Provide remote clinical assessment and risk management.
- Manage and triage clinical enquiries via the shared medical inbox.
- Support overseas clinical operations and advise on clinical matters.
- Participate in MDT discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
- Conduct clinical audits and support service improvements.
- Build relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
