Job summary

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is looking for a Clinical Coding Auditor to join the Training and Audit Team. The post supports progression towards NHS England Approved Auditor Status and involves working with data analytics tools to improve coding quality across the Trust.

Qualifications

• This vacancy is open to those who wish to start a career as a Clinical Coding Auditor as well as those who may already hold NHS England Approved Clinical Coding Auditor Status.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Senior Clinical Coding Auditor and use the clinical coding data analytics system to drive improvements in data quality.
• Undertake monthly checks of data to ensure robust, high-quality coding across specialties.
• Provide feedback on coding errors and flag poor practice in coding and documentation standards.
