Job summary

Hope Citadel Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Coder to triage and code incoming clinical documents in the patient record system using SNOMED codes. The role focuses on reducing GP administrative workload by ensuring accurate coding and appropriate forwarding to clinicians.

Responsibilities include handling electronic documents, performing triage, and supporting audits and practice meetings. GCSEs in English and Maths plus prior SNOMED coding and GP practice experience are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A–C.
• Experience of working in a GP Practice.
• Previous SNOMED coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Download electronic documents into patients' records and the clinical system.
• Code documents with SNOMED codes and triage to determine GP input.
• Send tasks to GPs and other healthcare professionals via the clinical system.
