Job summary
Spire Healthcare is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist the Nursing team and handle routine tasks to ensure patient wellbeing in a hospital setting.
Training will cover moving and setting up diagnostic equipment and using monitoring technologies. The role requires a willingness to learn venepuncture and ECG recording, with NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and experience in a hospital ward
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential.
- Must have previous experience working as an HCA in a hospital setting, surgical ward, or ward experience.
- System literacy is essential; MS Office and SAP are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist the clinical team in delivering patient care within the department.
- Support the Nursing team with healthcare assistance.
- Move and set up diagnostic equipment and related resources (after training).
- Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
- Venepuncture and ECG recording: experience or willingness to learn.
- Must be accurate and have a strong attention to detail.
