Job summary

Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Clinical Bioinformatician in Berkshire for a 12-month contract with hybrid work (3 days from home). You will analyse patient-level omics data to refine biological mechanisms and treatment effects, develop analysis pipelines, and document workflows for reproducibility.

The role includes drafting reports and contributing to publications. Ideal candidates hold a Master/PhD in Bioinformatics, with expertise in RNAseq, integrative omics, HPC Unix, Docker,

Qualifications

• Master/PhD with extensive experience in Bioinformatics or relevant field.
• Experience preprocessing, integrating, and analyzing omics data, especially RNAseq.
• Ability to develop interpretation methods for omics data and pathway analysis.
• Strong computational skills in HPC Unix, cloud, and containerization (Docker).
• Proficiency in R and other bioinformatics languages; document code and best practices.
• Solid understanding of statistics, data mining, and visualization of biological data.

Responsibilities

• Process, analyse, and interpret omics data from the clinical portfolio.
• Develop analysis pipelines and methods using state-of-the-art tools.
• Document code and analyses to ensure reproducibility.
• Draft reports and contribute to scientific publications and abstracts.
