Zohorecruit is seeking a senior bioinformatician to process and interpret omics data for clinical assets. You will build analysis pipelines with state-of-the-art tools and document workflows for reproducibility.

The role requires a PhD or Master with 5+ years, extensive RNA-seq experience (bulk and single-cell), and strong skills in R, Docker, and HPC environments. Experience with publications and clinical correlations is a plus.

Competenze

• Master/PhD with at least 5 years of industry or equivalent experience
• Expertise in preprocessing, integration and analysis of omics data types, especially bulk and single-cell RNAseq
• Experience with spatial data, epigenomics and proteomics is advantageous
• Experience developing methods for functional interpretation of omics data (pathway enrichment, module detection, causal reasoning)
• Experience relating omics results to clinical variables is a plus
• Excellent computational skills in HPC/Unix, cloud-based pipelines and containerization (Docker) for reproducible workflows
• Proficiency in R and other programming languages; strong coding and reproducibility practices
• Strong understanding of statistics, data mining, and visualization of biological data
• Ability to communicate results to experts and non-experts and contribute to publications
