Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an HCPC registered clinical scientist to join the Clinical Biochemistry Department in Winchester. A MSc or equivalent in Clinical Biochemistry is required, with Part 1 of the FRCPath completed and Part 2 Module 1 completed or awaiting results.

You will participate in the Duty Biochemist and Duty Manual rosters, contribute to service development, quality management, audits and MDT attendance, and participate in the on‑call rota

Qualifications

• HCPC registered clinical scientist
• MSc or equivalent in Clinical Biochemistry
• Part 1 of FRCPath completed
• Part 2 module 1 completed or pending

Responsabilités

• Participate in the Duty Biochemist rota and the Duty Manual rota
• Contribute to service development, quality management, clinical audits and MDT attendance
• Input into training and supervision for STP trainees
• Participate in on-call rota (approximately 1 in 4)
• Act as NSHCS STP training officer for departmental trainees
• Engage in journal clubs and CPD sessions to support progression towards full FRCPath
