Job summary

The Clinical Effectiveness Support Officer at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust plays a key role in supporting the Trust’s clinical effectiveness programme with emphasis on clinical audit and NICE activity. You will work within the Clinical Effectiveness Team to coordinate audits, ensure NICE compliance and produce routine reporting.

The role combines administrative coordination with hands-on data handling, analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• Diploma level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience of working with data, data input and analysis.
• Experience of using spreadsheets or databases to manage and analyse data.
• Experience of progress tracking or coordinating workstreams, action logs or processes.
• Ability to work to deadlines whilst managing competing priorities.
• Experience of ordering/procurement.
• Experience of use and maintenance of web-pages.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications, excel, powerpoint and MS Access.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and delivery of clinical audit and NICE activity across the Trust.
• Undertake data validation, analysis and reporting to ensure accuracy and quality of outputs.
• Maintain systems, registers and tracking processes to support oversight and assurance.
• Contribute to governance reporting and communication of key information.
• Work collaboratively with clinical services, corporate teams and external audit/NICE providers.
• Ensure compliance with Trust policies, procedures and data governance requirements.
