Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional registration with NMC or HCPC.
• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience.
• Triage experience.
• Evening and weekend availability essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based clinical assessment, prioritisation and advice by telephone.
• Assess clinical risk through telephone assessments using protocols and clinical judgement.
• Triages patients and provides routine or self-care advice as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and work within professional guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, ensuring safe outcomes.
• Participate in audit, governance and CPD as required.
