Job summary

London Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a clinical advisor to join our Integrated Urgent Care team in Barking. You will assess patients' health and clinical needs using your professional clinical knowledge and a clinical decision support tool.

You will provide telephone clinical assessments, ensuring patients are signposted to the right care, at the right time, in the right place, and you will participate in ongoing clinical training and CPD sessions as part of our development programme.

Qualifications

• Clinical qualification and registration with a relevant professional body.
• Experience in urgent care, telephone triage or acute care settings.
• Excellent communication, decision-making and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health and clinical needs using professional knowledge with a decision support tool.
• Provide telephone clinical assessments and determine appropriate care pathways.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and participate in ongoing training.
