Job summary

Medinet is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to join the Operations Team in the Birmingham area. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and delivering clinical services, interfacing between clinical teams, NHS partners and internal departments to ensure resource readiness.

You will mobilise new NHS contracts, manage clinician scheduling, support workforce planning and ensure clinics run smoothly, while building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to continuous service improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule clinical teams across multiple healthcare services.
  • Ensure contracts are fully resourced, typically planning up to 12 weeks in advance.
  • Match and place appropriately skilled clinicians into services and contracts.
  • Monitor staffing requirements and proactively identify potential resourcing risks.
  • Support clinician engagement and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Support the launch of new NHS and healthcare contracts.
  • Coordinate workforce planning of service go-live dates.
  • Compile and manage key customer documentation, including clinician credentials and CVs.
  • Ensure clinicians have the necessary training, onboarding and system access before service delivery begins.
  • Manage clinic administration activities including reporting, inbox management and clinician queries.
  • Support with clinic changes, cancellations and service updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all operational systems are kept up to date.
  • Assist with audits, reporting and operational performance monitoring.
  • Build strong working relationships with NHS partners, clinicians and internal teams.
  • Communicate staffing updates and operational information to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Sales and Commercial teams.
  • Escalate operational risks, challenges and opportunities when required.
  • Support business growth initiatives and service development projects.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency and customer experience.
  • Share best practice and support cross-functional collaboration across the business.

Operations Team | Full Time £25,000 per annum Location: Birmingham (Edgbaston)

Working Pattern (Monday to Friday):

9:00am to 5:00pm

11:00am to 7:00pm

The Opportunity

As a Clinic Coordinator, you will act as the central link between clinical teams, NHS stakeholders and internal departments to ensure services are fully resourced, efficiently coordinated and successfully delivered.

You’ll work closely with operational leaders, healthcare professionals and commercial teams to support the mobilisation of new services, manage clinician scheduling, coordinate workforce planning and ensure clinics run smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:
Workforce Planning & Clinic Coordination

Coordinate and schedule clinical teams across multiple healthcare services.

Ensure contracts are fully resourced, typically planning up to 12 weeks in advance.

Previous experience within healthcare, NHS or clinical operations environments.

Experience as a Clinic Coordinator, Hospital Administrator, Waiting List Coordinator, Medical Scheduler or similar role.

Experience using systems such as EMIS, Planday or other workforce management platforms.
