Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Crewe is seeking a Clinic Data Coordinator to provide a comprehensive admin service to the divisions, supporting the Support Manager. You will proactively manage clinic bookings and appointments, and suggest changes to clinic templates to maximise capacity and meet national targets.

The role requires initiative, confidentiality, and teamwork within the administrative staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating clinics, patient appointments, referrals, or waiting lists.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm during busy times.
  • Experience working to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills with appointments, records and competing priorities.

Job description

The post holder will provide a comprehensive, quality, confidential administration service to the Divisions and their team in support of the Support Manager/Service Manager. A key requirement of the post is to proactively manage clinic bookings and appointments, including making recommendations and implementing any authorised changes to clinic templates to ensure best use of capacity and compliance with national targets. The Clinic/Data Coordinator will be expected to organise their workload and co-ordinate their activities in conjunction with, and supervised by, the Support Manager to ensure that an efficient service is provided. It is essential that the post holder is able to exercise initiative suitable to the role, and is fully supportive to other colleagues in the administrative team.

Previous experience within a similar role within the Trust and knowledge of Outpatient processes would be particularly advantageous, although full in-depth training will be provided as part of our local induction programme.
